तिरुच्चिराप्पळ्ळिमण्डलं (तमिऴ्: தி௫ச்சிராப்பள்ளிமாவட்டம் आङ्ग्लम्: Tiruchirapalli District)
ट्रिचीमण्डलम् इति, तिरुच्चिमण्डलम् इति च ख्यातं तमिऴ्नाडुराज्यस्य ३२ मण्डलेषु अन्यतमम् । इदं मण्डलं कावेरीनद्याः तीरभूमौ अस्ति । अस्य केन्द्रस्थानं तिरुच्चिराप्पळ्ळिनगरम् । ब्रिटिश्प्रशासनकाले इदं ‘ट्रिचिनोपोलि’ इति ज्ञातम् आसीत्, माद्रास्प्रान्तस्य भागः च आसीत् । १९४७तमे वर्षे भारतेन स्वातन्त्र्यप्राप्त्यनन्तरं मण्डलस्य पुनर्नामकरणम् अभवत् ।
