First thoughts on this Sanskrit Wikipedia: it is in terrible shape.
- Many pages have highly ungrammatical Sanskrit. This is fine (we cannot expect contributors to be perfect), but there should be some mechanism of rating the language of pages. (The Latin Wikipedia has categories based on the page's language.)
- Many parts of the interface look as if they have been translated word-by-word from either English or Hindi, rather than into idiomatic Sanskrit.
- The Sanskrit lapses into Hindi frequently! This is lame. It seems the mediawiki translations have been done based on Hindi, which is a terrible choice. (They are both written in Devanagari, so it is even hard to see untranslated parts at a glance.) It would have been better to stick with English or a non-Devanagari language for untranslated phrases.
- Many pages have explicit HTML code. UGH.
